Screw designNot only do producers want a consistent mix, their cows do, too. The twin-screw mixers from Vermeer come equipped with an overlapping screw design and offset baffles along the tub wall. Together, the screws, baffles and tub geometry work together to move material from the front chamber to the back chamber for a thorough mix.
Efficient cleanoutFeed is more valuable in the bunk than left in the tub. That is why Vermeer mixers offer two bi-pulse legs and the leading edge of the screw to form three points of contact with the tub floor to optimize cleanout and minimize feed waste.
